I chose the name Five Layers of Self because, as licensed skincare practitioners, our focus stems from the five layers of our skin and the balance and harmony within these five layers that we strive for.  

To achieve balance with our skin, we need to take care of it properly and nourish it with the proper nutrients while also being mindful of the external factors that can affect it, such as pollution and sun exposure. Just like we need to respect and appreciate the complexity of the natural world, we need to recognize the complexity of our skin and the environment it's exposed to.

What started as a Mother/Daughter compilation has turned into purpose. Our motivation to create and purvey a skincare & beauty brand comes from a need to pass along and share our must-haves with those who seek exceptional skincare.

  • I absolutely love the hyaluronic lotion!! My skin has never been so soft! I like to layer the hyaluronic lotion with my Retinaldehyde (a suggested recommendation by Deborah!), and I use the QB cream at night, (on business trips to Denver). Provides a little extra moisture when needed. Overall, all great products!!
